The Crossroads of America Council is excited to share the search for the new Scout Executive and CEO has opened. The organization is searching for a leader with a passion for impacting the next generation of leaders, strong moral character, and proven fundraising experience.
Board Chair Deana Haworth, CEO of Hirons, shared, “Scouting teaches youth to be strong, independent, and compassionate leaders. We want to hire a high energy individual who wants to be a part of offering these opportunities and resources to all youth across central Indiana.”
Position Description
The organization is searching for a leader with a passion for impacting the next generation of leaders, strong moral character, and proven fundraising experience. This leader will serve as chief executive officer of the council and give direction to the operations and administration of the council, subject to the authority and direction of the executive board. Serves as the secretary for the council, the executive board, and the executive committee. Responsible for strategic planning, council and Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) objectives, fiscal stability, membership and growth management, volunteer and community relationships for the Scouting program and unit service within the council.
