Since joining the Crossroads of America Council in 2019, Molly has fully embraced all that Scouting offers. As a member of Troop 171 in Indianapolis, where her mother serves as Scoutmaster, she quickly set her sights on Eagle Scout, Scouting’s highest rank—and surpassed even that ambitious goal. Over four years, Molly dedicated herself to earning every merit badge available, achieving a remarkable 139 badges.

This journey took her down diverse and challenging paths, where she discovered new passions, honed her leadership skills, and connected with communities and mentors. Reflecting on her experience, Molly says, “Scouting gave me life skills and a connection to people beyond my town. It showed me that everyone has a passion and a place in Scouting.”

Now headed to the University of Wisconsin, Molly’s story is a powerful example of what Scouting makes possible.
